Sedge Hike

Botanists and novices alike are invited to learn about some of our beautiful park sedges from our skilled park botanist, Tomas Curtis! If you are unfamiliar with the group of grass-like plants called sedges, you will be amazed at the diverse size, structure, and blooms of the sedge species along the trail. Sedge-focused hikes are uncommon because these plants are notoriously challenging to identify. Thankfully, we will have Tomas as our guide!
