The life beneath the surface of the water is incredible and discovering the macroinvertebrates that live there is fun for all ages! Explore a high-quality headwater stream with our staff and meet some of these aquatic creatures up close and personal! We will be using nets to gently sample the stream and learn how we determine water quality based on the macroinvertebrates we find.

Please note that it is an approximately 1-mile walk on natural surface trails to our sampling location.
