Fitness Hike

Park Rx is nature's prescription for health!

Maureen Rude from Sequoia Wellness will share a mix of fitness and fun, good for all ages and fitness levels! The hike will include walking around the park with frequent stops along the way. With each stop, she will demonstrate a strength exercise using the materials on the trail: i.e. walking lunges, incline bench pushups, and maybe even squatting with rocks in hand! This event promotes an active lifestyle by being creative with exercise, especially in the great outdoors!
