Spring Mushroom Walk

The mature forest of Towner's Woods contains a healthy diversity of fungi. Have you ever walked in the park and thought "wow, there's a lot of fungus among us...I wonder what these are"? Emmet Roberts, our park Natural Areas Stewardship Technician, will point out the cool fungi along the trail and share tips on identification. Prepare to be amazed by the diversity in the fungal world!
