In response to the COVID-19 pandemic and guidelines to reduce public exposure of the virus, we are cancelling this program. If you have already registered for an upcoming program, our Public Engagement staff will be in contact to inform you when they are rescheduled. We encourage the public to continue to visit our parks and enjoy the great outdoors and the beauty of nature this Spring.

Thank you for your understanding and support of our parks!

Join us to learn, practice, and become more confident in the basics of photography. Sometimes the most challenging part of getting started in photography is figuring out how to use the equipment. Led by photographer, Denny Reiser, our volunteer photographers will be on hand to guide you through the setup and functions of your camera. Bring your camera and user manual (if you have it). Learn when to use different settings on your camera and how those settings may affect the quality of your end result.

Weather permitting, we will walk down to the river to practice taking water photos.

Space is limited. Register to reserve your spot.
