Pollinator Workshop

Join us for an informative workshop about the benefits of pollinators!
Learn how to identify common pollinators, how to select plants to attract and support pollinator communities, and how to make your landscape pollinator-friendly. Staff from Portage Park District, Portage Soil & Water Conservation District, and USDA-Natural Resources Conservation Service will share their expertise and information about local pollinator programs and resources. The workshop will be held outside, so please dress accordingly. Meet in the parking lot.
An optional (but super fun) pollinator identification walk will be happening from 5:00-6:00pm. Lynn Vogel and Bob Heath will be leading the hike.
