Children Services Agency - PCSA
The mission of Children Services is to protect
abused, neglected and dependent children and
promote their well-being.
We believe that each child has a right to be raised in a safe,
permanent family.
Children Services values and depends on its partnership with
community agencies and citizens to
protect Portage County’s children.
Children Services conducts investigations, provides home-based
services, and foster care/adoption services. In 2005, Portage County
rated 7th in the state out of 88 counties in placement of children
nine years old and older for adoption.
The county is in urgent need of foster caregivers for temporary
placement of children. For more
