In 1999 the Board of
Commissioners organized a Building Security Department to
oversee security procedures in the Administration Building and
grounds. The staff routinely patrols the
building and grounds and greets the public as they enter the
Administration Building. The staff carries portable phones which
permits all employees to reach any officer throughout the day.
The Board of Commissioners
contracted with Alderson Clark, LTD to perform a
comprehensive security survey of county facilities beginning
this year.
